+ One haiku may be entered per person; multiple entries will be automatically disqualified. Submit your best haiku celebrating figs!

+ Haiku's should follow the 5/7/5 syllabic meter

+ Three finalists will be chosen by Nicole Gulotta, founder of Eat This Poem; the winner will be chosen by public vote hosted on eatthispoem.com.

+ The winner will receive a copy of The Hungry Ear: Poems of Food and Drink by Kevin Young
